It’s the term used for viewable area of the loaded webpage without scrolling it down.
ASP (Application Service Provider)

ASP (Active Server Pages)
A server-side scripting language used to create content dynamically as a result of user request mostly by clicking a link and the resultant page is generated using Microsoft’s ActiveX controls.
Affiliate Marketing
It’s a method of promoting web business which is performance-base arrangement in which independent contractors called affiliates is rewarded for every visitor, customer or sales of the products achieved through his/her efforts ( advertising links from their sites ).As this is entire performance based marketing structure so the affiliates can earn anything from as low as 1% to as high as 80% or more as commission for making sales.

Formerly known as ‘The Mining Company’. It’s a large directory with tons of sources with consumer information and advice divided in different topics which are further grouped in channels.
Affiliate directory
It’s the categorized listing of affiliate programs.
Algorithm
It’s a process applied by search engine to web pages which determines the way they indexes content of pages and display it to users. These are normally changed every quarter.
AdWords
It’s a pay per click advertising program by Google where business owners bid on keywords to be shown when those keywords are referenced / searched in the google or google partner networks (including adsense).
AdSense
It’s an Ad serving program run by Google to generate income from website or blog whereby the ads displayed on a site are automatically generated to match the content relevancy and revenue is shared with the site owner on a pay per click or pay-per-thousand-impressions basis.
Apache
It’s a free, open-source web server software system which is widely used across the internet.
ALT text
Its an attribute in the HTML image tag. The text contained in the alt text attribute will appear in the web page if the image is broken or if the reader has turned off graphics. One normally sees it before an image is loaded on a web page.
Anchor Text
It is the text in between the HTML anchor <a> and </a> tags. It refers to the visible text for a hyperlink. < a href="http://www.seomajor.com/" >This is the anchor text< /a >
