Status Code Definations:
200
It’s for OK Status. Means the file request was successful or the file which user requested was found and loaded properly in a web browser.
301
It means that the files on a server are moved permanently to new location. This is the preferred and ethical technique of redirecting for websites.
302
It means that the website is found but the files are temporarily located at another URI as well. It’s good to avoid using 302 redirects as search engines do not recommend this practice.
404
It means that the server is unable to locate the URL you are looking for. Most of the content management systems send 404 status codes when particular file do not exists.
500
It stands for internal server error. The message shows when server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from opening the requested document.
